We realize we are forecast for challenging weather. We will plan to conduct the conference regardless of weather as all arrangements and flights have been secured. We do not want anyone to rush in the morning, if you can make it on time – great. If not, feel free to show up when you can and join in at that time.

Nevada homeschoolers recently attended a special event co-hosted by HSLDA and Nevada Homeschool Network (NHN). “Remembering the Reason . . . Renewing the Vision” was a one day Homeschool Symposium that was held in Carson City on March 26 and Las Vegas on March 27, 2010.

NHN Chairman Frank Schnorbus joined HSLDA President Michael Smith, Early Years Coordinator Vicki Bentley, High School Coordinator Becky Cooke, and Special Needs Coordinator Dianne Craft in presenting valuable information on homeschooling. NHN Board Members Barbara Dragon, Elissa Wahl, Kelley Radow, Laura Siegal and Carl Lucas all participated in coordinating a tremendous event.
