FAITH homeschoolers goal is to strengthen the home school community by creating a Christian environment for learning, enriching the academic curriculum provided in our homes, and offering encouragement and support to the parents who are committed to the education of their children.
Our classes provide supplemental educational experiences on a weekly basis to expand on the curriculum already being provided in a homeschooling environment.

Kids LIFE! (Kids Learning In Fun Everywhere!) is a group of homeschooling families in Northern Nevada that meets for weekly playgroups, field trips, and group activities. This group does not focus on individual educational styles, rather it is about giving our children the opportunity to get together and learn in a natural and fun way. It also provides parents with adult socialization and support. We are a very active group!
We love welcoming new families into our group. If you feel that this might be the group for you and your family, please send us an email at Admin@KidsLIFEnv.org introducing your family. We’d love to hear where you are in your homeschooling journey, wherever that might be (even if you are just trying to decide whether homeschooling is right for you).

Advisors, mentors, consultants…the name for a veteran homeschooler, or someone else well-versed in homeschooling, who is willing to spend time with new/interested families.
An advisor is not the teacher. The parent is the teacher, and the advisor aids the parent in beginning their homeschooling journey.
There are compensated and uncompensated advisors….it is important in your search to ask a few pertinent questions, such as:
- How much homeschooling experience do you have?
- Do you charge? If so, how much?
- Are you available throughout the year?
- What will you provide for me? support group contacts, etc?
- What is your teaching philosophy? Can you explain different ones to me?
We do not endorse any of the advisors listed. Each individual should determine compatibility with the advisor, based on family needs and expectations.
Below is a list of uncompensated advisors who will spend some time answering questions, helping with paperwork, and giving general homeschooling information.
Please email Bev with your question(s) and she’ll either answer by email or set up a phone conference with you.
After 20 years as a NV homeschool consultant, Barb now only serves as a “Nevada non-attorney homeschool legal advisor”. If you have questions or problems regarding Nevada homeschool law and/or compliance issues please feel free to call.
